Brief history of our company

The President of the company, Mr. Dondi Guglielmo, after having spent his youth working in South America in various sectors, returned to Italy in 1970 and set up the company in the form of an S.a.s. taking over a small hardware store located in the center of the city of Parma.
Within a few years, after having consolidated itself in the local market by specializing in screws and bolts, it opened the first branch in 1976 in Suzzara. Shortly thereafter, due to the company's market needs, a new branch was opened in 1977 in Piacenza. In 1981 he gave one of his collaborators the opportunity to manage a new branch in Mantua. 1982 is the year that requires, given the company's size, the change of the legal nature from S.a.s. in S.p.A. In 1985, the BAVIERI SAS company with headquarters in Anzola Emilia (BO) was incorporated. To unify the activities carried out in both bolts and tools, in this same year it was necessary to incorporate the company Commercial Lodo S.r.l., a company active in the specific tool sector. In 1993, given the excellent performance of the company and the year-on-year increase in turnover, the SOFAV S.r.l. property was purchased and incorporated, with the intention of subsequently transferring the current main headquarters. In 1997 a new branch was opened in Brescia, Via Roma 44/48, through the acquisition of a property located in an excellent location in the city. In 1999 the renovation works on the new headquarters in Parma, Via Emilia Ovest 74/a finally ended, a work that required a lot of effort, but on which we are focusing decisively to obtain new important results. In recent years Commercial Dado has grown further thanks to the acquisition of two large stores in Vicenza and Verona.
